Kosmea is an Australian natural skin care company founded on the unique properties of certified organic rose hip oil
Kosmea was started in 1994, when mother of three, Marie Jenkins discovered the amazing skin care benefits of rose hip oil whilst researching ingredients for a home-made skin care product. After selling the family car to pay for the first barrel of rose hip oil, Marie and her children set about filling 4,000 little bottles in her kitchen. Before long Kosmea's Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil was joined by a whole range of skin and body care products all founded on organic rose hip oil and Kosmea was born.
Marie still goes to great lengths to source natural ingredients and to develop products that are as close to nature as possible whilst being at the cutting edge of beauty. Her mission has not changed: the very best ingredients from nature, formulated for noticeable results and a regime that suits the busy lifestyles of today's woman.
The word 'Kosmea' comes from the Ancient Greek meaning 'to harmonise or bring into balance' and reflects the balancing and harmonising effect that rose hip oil has on the skin.
